That moment, 2:37, is epic. Definitely my favorite part about this. The stop/slow-motion thing really worked for capturing the surprise and shock (and awesome) of that moment.

That was really all that impressed me though.

The characters weren't developed at all. I felt no sympathy for the male lead when we were told his "lady friend" had been killed because until that moment I hadn't even known he had a lady friend--or a personality. I would have liked to know him more. All I know is that he's good with numbers, pulled a heist right out of school, and that he's screwing with this heist group.

I also had trouble getting involved in the film because I had trouble believing it. It just distracted me. For example, the finger being shot and he barely cares, the woman with the guy being SO distracted by him knocking over that little thing.

My final criticism is mostly just a pet peeve. There were a frustrating number of unabashed cliches. The throwing of the cigarette to show the tension, the use of the phrase "Jacky-boy", and the ending of the candle being blown out because of the death.

Are you coming out with an episode 2? I would be interested to see where the story goes and how the characters could develop.

What?! The guy gets shot- in the finger, and somehow the flesh is stripped of leaving exposed bone- and he seems not to notice until after he gets a cup of water. WTF? That's aside from the most awful dialog ever. I'll pass on any further eps, thanks.

I love it. I'm biased because I did the practical FX, but I love it.

I don't like movies like that, I like positives ones but technically this is a great job! Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah, the next episode shoots at the end of May and should be longer than the pilot. Got some really cool stuff in store.

There is a mistake on 2.45..Look at cut finger.

Also I think, that there is a lot of music. Cause them I could realy hear the dialog.

Maybe it would be better include some tension/suspense sounds?

But the shots are nice.

We are just a couple friends living in Illinois. Thanks, for the compliments! Ty is an amazing actor, he's just getting started but he's a very dynamic actor that we have had in a couple different projects.

If you would like to see more episodes please, toss us a couple bucks with the "Donate" button on the side. The plan for episode #2 is pretty awesome. Every dollar helps.

Thanks for the response. Music choices are what I wanted, I did not go with tension/suspense sounds on purpose cause that's not what "Bummer" is. I've been aware of the finger mistake since day one, but the fact of the matter is it was just three friends making a pilot for 6 hours on the weekend.
