Imagine a world where nature is being replaced by technology. This 'new' nature is slowly taking the place of the old and is offering a more efficient and improved version of the surrounding world. Are these simply technological advances or are they now considered what can be seen as the world around us? 'The Golden Spiral' questions at what point do things retain their identity and at what point do they become something completely different?

PS: Was this inspired by "What's Wrong with Plastic Trees?"

I've actually never read or heard of that essay. It sounds fascinating though and I'll be sure to look it up and read it. The biggest influence on this film is actually "Blade Runner" and the whole question of "What is it to be human?" and that then snowballed into basically "What truly defines X?" and that in turn turned into the basic backbone of this film.

I don't know if the publisher intended it this way or not, but this film is very much like the influential 1973 Krieger essay in environmental ethics, "What's Wrong with Plastic Trees?" I liked the end with the person using artificial sweetener in his coffee. That was a very clever and nicely understated touch :)

I also liked that the publisher didn't try too hard to make it merely a dystopian vision of the future, but leave it (at least to some degree) an open question. I'd like to see this made into something longer with a bigger budget and special effects. It could be used to spark classroom discussion in conjunction with the Krieger article.

It makes you think about simple things in life , one day there will be no nature like the movie said artifical world, Computers are the new age step, and all labor hard work will be on computers people wont do phtsical excercise at there jobs, well people already sit down at a computer for 8 hours and work. So the human race is becoming a drone, or robots.

we are a society of workers and not helping our planet we are destroying it by use of robotic, Technology

I used a JVC GY-HM100U. It's alright, the 24p is kinda glitchy, so I didn't use that (I borrowed it from a friend, I wouldn't buy it at that price tag), but overall it's an OK camera.
