Charley wakes up on his birthday and decides to throw himself a bowling party. His roommate is moving out soon, so they are showing their place to new potential subletters during the day. Nobody ends up showing up to the bowling party except for his current roommate and a potential new subletter who is mostly there to talk about the apartment. Things turn around though when Charley ends up having a bond with the potential subletter.

He's asleep and out of the blue she comes into his life. "Not the unluckiest one", some understatement. I liked it very much!

Unlike PPAWEL, I thought this film was not so much about love perse, but about human connection and interaction, and finding a place in life and the world. I liked it a lot.

I didn't like it. It was cheesy. Life is not all about cute girls and when does something like in this movie happen anyway? I prefer more down-to-earth take on life but if one is into some lovey-dovey stuff then the movie is OK I guess.

Being surrounded by a lot of crap (I work in hollywood) I have to strongly encourage this kind of work, human and well done. It made me stare at the characters throughout the whole movie. Thanks.

One of my favorite vids in the VODO Mixtape #1. It's one of those films that makes you sad and a bit happy at the same time.

A very believable film with great characters and an interesting plot which, like all of the other works distributed here, offer so much more than most films produced by the commercial industry.
