The Third Letter (Grzegor Jonkatys)

A sumptuously stylized vision of the future city, rich in shades of grey, from the technical genius behind an array of special effects masterpieces like Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy, Star Trek and Iron Man 2. Amid this maze of heavy architecture, choked air, indifferent flows of the machine-driven day-to-day, one man's nine-to-five takes a k turn when a letter arrives: the third letter - no more reminders. When the cogs of administration are unstoppable, how far would you go to resist the pull toward the place they're dragging you?

Perspective (Mehment Can Kocak)

"Have you ever been afraid of your own mirror image?". In the low-lit private space of a dystopian techno-future, the real merges with the virtual, the world of solid things reduced to a sparse stage for the seductive call of sensuous data. And in this place, you, how much of this you is you anymore, when fleshly sense and code collide in every cheap hit you take to relieve the ache of desire? Hard edges soften, sharp distinctions blur .This is your simulation! This is your perspective!

The Return of John Frum (Christian Schlaeffer)

John Frum, Messiah of Polynesian Cargo Cults, returns as an astronaut and businessman to the postindustrial wasteland of the financial-service-economy. Embarking on a "conquest of the useless" things get confused and what begins as a journey becomes a trip beyond the boundaries of so called logic and meaning. Realised in beautifully crafted animation and innovatively rendered background art, the telling of this story is thick with atmosphere and celebrates a renaissance of the unconscious freed from the technocratic shackles of our times.

Dimensional Meltdown (Ofer Pedut)

Sometime in the near future. Three parallel universes. She dies in each one. He cant take the loss. With an unsecured technology that has accidentally made its way to the wider public, they decide to go for a ride to a fourth parallel in which she is still alive - ours. A tale of refracted light, chasing the last flicker of hope for snatching romance from death, through a hall of mirrors darkly.

Candy (Nikita Ovsyannikov)

Most of our mistakes can be fixed with time, but what should we do if we are out of time? Two men at the remote station, halfway between the past and a diminishing future. Two lives, one destiny. A compelling meditation on living your life now, because tomorrow may never happen.

Kitty-Kitty (Michael Medaglia)

What picture of the world ahead did we paint for one another? What world did we think would surround us in the morning light after a thousand nights from here? After a hundred? After tomorrow? A film about love, cats and brain parasites, this disturbing short was inspired by Toxoplasmosis: a disease caused by a parasite that is believed to affect up to a third of the world population and a condition that can radically change human behaviour. Forever.

ITD (Framescape)

Charting the course of a low-level assignment for a private security firm, ITD follows Falk's squad on a routine escort mission to a Swedish shipyard located in the Baltic sea. When fate deals the maintenance crew a rough hand, the mission takes a turn that propels the squad well beyond the bounds of routine.
