The Pioneer One Team
In late January 2010, writer Josh Bernhard pitched his Untitled Mars Show idea to director Bracey Smith. In February, the pair quit their jobs and got down to work on the pilot episode of Pioneer One, finished by May with a budget of $6000. The enormous response to its release on VODO prompted them to continue producing the first season with viewer-donated support.
The Pioneer One team is based mostly in and around New York, NY. At its core is a group of filmmakers who met at the avant-garde cinema department at Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY. With P1, they've amassed an amazing group of talented performers and crew, all willing to work for free because of their belief in the project.

For anyone wanting a DVD cover, I've uploaded an attempt to FreeCovers.net. Its designed to fit a standard single dvd case.
I used DVDFlick to burn the episodes onto 2 discs and used a 2 disc case.

Episode 6 sd xvid the sound is off and it won't let me fast forward or adjust the audio tracking. I've downloaded it 3 times. Any suggestions ?

@MACBERMU: The subtitle files need to be placed in the same directory than the video files AND their names have to be identical to the names of the corresponding video files. Then you should have no problems. If you still can't see them, you may have to go in your player's options: there should be a "subtitles" tab with a "show subs" line to check.

OK, I've tried to have my peeps call your peep, about that nude scene with Lindsey Lohan after you work her into the Series. The whole deal with her being a "Real Martian", as opposed to those Russian visitors, and how she and Yuri originally hooked up when he was out wandering around the old water distillation machine and she came up out of the sand and morphed into, well into LiLo, and they like, well you know DID IT in the sand and stuff. I'm really conflicted about playing that part of LiLo the Martian's jilted Procreation Unit, just sayin' ...

But I need your help. How can I see the subtitles? I don't know to do with the folder named "Subs"... It's neccesary copy all the contents to a DVD or CD to see the movie and the subtitles?

I only discovered "Pioneer One" recently. I wish I was capable of donating, but being unemployed at the moment I simply cannot. I wish you all the best and hope for a season 2. In any event, what a fine job. A remarkable series equal to (or better) than many a show on television.

The magic disappeared (watched sixth episode). The show and actors play are too static. I donated after the first episode or second, and i admit there are big/huge qualities to the serie and enormous work done when i rethink about it.

@ANDY G We are working on DVDs and artwork. In the meantime we welcome it if people want to create their own and make it available.

@SCIFIFAN I'm glad you enjoyed the show. A few points about the ad:
a) The show was always designed to follow as closely as we could the standard television format, including commercial breaks. All of the episodes were written for there to be a narrative break in the middle. If we didn't have this ad, there would still be something to break it up.
b) The ad has no surreptitious influence on the actual content.
c) While it's true the show was mainly financed through viewer donations (for which we are humbled and immensely grateful), we never met our funding goal. As a result, a lot of the show was paid for on credit and from personal investment. If you begrudge us an opportunity to help pay off the debt we've incurred to bring this show to you, then I invite you not to watch.
I'm amazed every time I have to explain this.

Now that all 6 episodes are available, people might want to burn to dvd.
Is there any intention to make full front and back dvd cover art for this series ?

After viewing all 6 episodes, all in HD quality, I find I must congratulate the crew for doing such a great production with limited funding. If I had some extra money, I would gladly help but I have limited living funds as is. I will help by promoting it on my websites.
