We were watching the movie from here point of view. And when she saw that her "baby" dragon was fully grown she realized that she had spend years looking for him/her. Before this moment, we saw her as the young girl she was in the beginning. However, when she realized she had grown old, she saw just that. And when she saw it, we saw it. Therefore the gray stripes in her hair all of a sudden. At least that is how I interpreted this movie.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was successful in creating a feeling/mood according to the story and his point of view and the makers managed to maintain this mood throughout the entire movie. This is one of those movies that really makes you think about what actually happened. Especially in the end. I am pretty sure that if 10 people watched this movie, none of them would agree on what actually happened. Which in this case is a very good thing.

Now this is a gorgeous movie. Considering the looks of it. However, I am not to fond of the story, but it's still worth watching. This is really good eye candy.

These Blender Foundation projects just keeps getting better and better. I would give this movie about 8 out of 10. Perhaps even 9 out of 10. The animations were very well done, the world was beauteful, the music was good and very appropriate, and the story... Well, at first I thought I knew what was coming. I thought I knew what was coming until the few last seconds of the movie. The end was simply perfect. Up until the end the story wasn't anything special, but they fixed that with a flawless twist. They really made it this time.

This is simply wonderful. It was one of the first movies I got from Vodo and ever since I have regularly visited vodo.net. This movie is very well done in pretty much all ways possible and is defenitly worth watching.
