Apparently the people in the documentary seem to say that at the beginning of the movie the tunnels were underground rail road systems for war...at the time. Seeing as how soldiers were around in 1991 and before 1991, that gives me the impression that a soldier at the time was part of a experiment gone wrong, or a soldier at the time decided he was willing to fight for survival after the war was over.
Oh and yes it is possible for another human to live off of another human...all the things that doctors say about people dying from eating another human is half true. Our body's are immune to more than 80% of viruses...but that all changes once you eat food, and digest medicine made by other humans to destroy your immune system on purpose.
