I enjoyed this video much more than Dead All Along, but I the music in this one is repetitive and becomes annoying.
This has a better song from Ceri Frost than Manifestations, but I didn't fin the video nearly as enjoyable.
I liked the animation. It had a fun bohemian quality. It was more of a surrealistic series of actions than a story, but that's fine for a music video. I really didn't care for the song though. It was pretty monotonous,
I'm a bit disappointed. I was hoping that this was going to depict what it would be like to have schizophrenia. I don't feel like it did that. It depicted someone who is obviously disturbed in some manner, but I don't see how it was identifiable schizophrenia.
What?! The guy gets shot- in the finger, and somehow the flesh is stripped of leaving exposed bone- and he seems not to notice until after he gets a cup of water. WTF? That's aside from the most awful dialog ever. I'll pass on any further eps, thanks.
Okay. The animation is decent. although not a style that I care for. The song has a cool sound, although I had trouble making out some of the lyrics. I don't know what to make of the story. It seemed kind of goofy to me, but then again I guess it's more than enough to sustain a song.
Hmmm. It's spooky enough, but there's no story. Well, if you consider, "People exploring a haunted house die in creepy ways" to be a story, then that's it. Ghosts? Demons? Monsters? Wild animals? Crazy guys? Who knows? There's no explanation whatsoever..
This seems like a real waste to me because it could have been quite good if they'd fleshed it out. I don't understand why they didn't. Clearly it was made for very little money. How much more expensive would it have been if it'd been 36 minutes instead of just 6? Maybe it was just a film school exercise. Perhaps they didn't want to be bothered writing a longer screenplay :(
LOL- so silly. :) I've seen this story so man times before, but I quite iiked this version. It was unapologetically campy and lasted less than 2 and a half minutes without the titles or credits. That's probably the smartest approach to this storyline I've seen yet. Also, the Christmas theme makes it especially cute :)
